R. Magdalene Canyon, Sage of Facial & Beauty Wisdom, LE, CMCT, CDP, CMS, has an extensive background in transformational movement work. In the 1980s she developed a unique style of body awareness called “E-motion: Energy-in-Motion.” It encompasses her years of personal exploration on how one can embody beauty, strength and presence through innovative, guided imagery integrating the chakra system, emotional release work and structural body alignment. She has worked with stage performers, including actors, dancers, models, musicians and rappers.
In late 1999, Magdalene was introduced to Micro Current Therapy (MCT) and was immediately impressed with the results. She particularly loved how the treatments dramatically improved the integrity and texture of her skin. Magdalene was certified as a Micro Current Therapist in April of 2000, incorporating mini-face lifts, scar, pigmentation and acne reduction, and injury treatment into her practice.
Magdalene is also a certified DNA (DermaNutraceutical Aesthetics™) Practitioner for the CryoStem™ Skin Therapy System, a unique system using the most natural and organic facial products with a patented formula that excels over most U.S. and European brands.
Retired from twelve years as a professional aerialist (Cirque style) performing internationally and in the U.S., Magdalene inspires her clients and students to fully express their innate and genuine charismatic beauty. Magdalene’s gift is in holding space for people in a deep and intentional way. She helps others access their own unique connection to the sacred and find expression for that in their life.
Magdalene has taught adults and children for over thirty years at events throughout the USA, Australia, Canada and Mexico. She maintains a private practice specializing in MicroCurrent Therapeutic mini-facelifts, the DNA CryoStem™ Cell Skin Therapy system, the ULTRA Skin Care Treatment (an advanced treatment combining the two systems) and her signature Core Alignment Program.
